Step 1: Creating Your Axis Workspace Account
What you need to know
Your Axis Workspace is the central hub where your organisation’s AI activity, company knowledge, AI models, agents, and team collaboration come together.
Before you begin
Decide which account you’d like to use to sign in to Axis Workspace.

Choose how you want to create your account: Continue with Google Continue with Microsoft Use your Email address and password

If you choose to use your email address, enter your email and create a password.

Complete the sign-up process.

Once your account is created, log in to Axis Workspace.

Configure AI Models
Axis Workspace brings leading AI models together in one interface, giving your team access to the right model for each task. As a workspace administrator, you control which AI models your team can access.
Before you begin
Consider which models your team needs access to and which users should be able to use them.

Knowledge Hub
This is where you organise and manage the information your team and AI can use within Axis Workspace. You can create Projects to organise knowledge around a specific business area, client, department, campaign, product, or use case.
Within a Project, you can bring together files, connected sources, website content, and brand information, all in one place.
Create a Project
What you need to know
Projects help you organise your company's knowledge into dedicated spaces. For example, you could create a “Marketing” project for your marketing team, a “Product Documentation” project for product information, or a “Company Brand” project containing your brand guidelines and assets.
Before you begin
Decide what information the Project will contain and who should have access to it.

Connect Your Sources
What you need to know
Instead of manually uploading files, you can connect existing sources to your Project.
Axis Workspace supports connections to sources such as:

Make sure you have access to the source and the necessary permissions to authorise the connection.

The connected source becomes available within your Project and can be used as part of your organisation's knowledge.
Crawl a Website
You can also use a website as a knowledge source by crawling its content, useful when you want Axis Workspace to draw on information already published on your site.

Have the website URL you want to crawl available.
How to do it

Add Your Brand Information
Knowledge Hub also allows you to add your brand information so AI can better understand and represent your organization.

This gives your AI and team a consistent understanding of how your brand should look, sound, and communicate.
Your brand information becomes part of the Project's context, helping AI generate work that is more aligned with your organization's identity.
Manage Project Access
You control who has access to each Project, keeping specific company knowledge available only to the teams or people who need it.
Before you begin
Decide whether the Project should be available to an entire team or specific users.
How to give access:

Go to Access or Project Access.

Choose whether to Add a Team or Add a User.

If adding a team, select the team you want to give access to.

If adding a user, search for them by name or email address.

Select the person or team.

Grant access.
The selected team or users will have access to the Project and the knowledge available within it.
Teams
The Teams section lets you organize users into teams and manage workspace members and invitations.
From the Teams section, you can view:

Users — See the users currently in your workspace.

Invitations — View pending workspace invitations.

You can create a team and add users to it.

Invite users to your workspace
You can invite new users to your workspace individually or in bulk using a CSV file.
To invite users individually:

Send the invitation.
Invite users using CSV
For bulk invitations, you can upload a CSV file containing the users you want to invite.

Download the CSV template and use it to prepare your list of users.

Upload the completed CSV file with their email addresses.

Review the users and their assigned roles and projects.

If needed, select Override CSV roles with the selected role to assign the same role to all users in the upload, regardless of the roles specified in the CSV file.

Step 4: How To Start a Chat on Axis Workspace
Chat
This is where you interact directly with AI in Axis Workspace. You can use Chat to ask questions, analyse files, generate images, use information from your Knowledge Hub, work with an AI agent, or choose the AI model you want to use.
What you need to know
Axis Workspace gives you the flexibility to choose how you want AI to help you.
Within a chat, you can:

Attach Files
You can attach files directly to a conversation and ask AI to analyze or work with the information in them. This can be useful when you want to summarize a document, extract information, or ask questions about a specific piece of content.

What you need to know

For example, you could use a Project containing your company policies, product documentation, pricing, or brand guidelines and ask AI questions based on that information.

Share and Collaborate in Chat
What you need to know
When collaborating in Chat, you can share access to a conversation with a team or an individual member of your organization. The level of access depends on who you share it with.
Share with a member or team

In the chat, type @ and search for the member or team you want to share it with

Select the member or team from the options

If you selected a team, choose the access level: Editor — Team members can edit and contribute to the shared conversation. Viewer — Team members can view the conversation without editing it.

Finding your chats
You can always go back to your previous chats from the AI Workspace Chats section. You can also search for a specific chat to quickly find what you’re looking for.
Your chats can be filtered by:

Favorites — Quickly access chats you’ve marked as favorites

Archived — Find chats you’ve archived

Folders — Organize your chats into folders. You can also create a new folder directly from here

Team Chat
What is Team Chat?
Team Chat is where your team can collaborate, share information, and work together within Axis Workspace.
You can collaborate around Projects from Knowledge Hub, start threads, send private direct messages, create group conversations, and bring AI agents into conversations when you need assistance.
Collaborate in a Project
What you need to know
Team Chat allows you to collaborate with your project teammates and keep conversations connected to the work you’re doing.
You can create a thread and select a Project from Knowledge Hub to give the conversation relevant business context.

Direct Messages
What you need to know
Direct Messages (DMs) allow you to have private conversations with individual members of your organization. Use DMs when you want to discuss something privately with a teammate rather than in a group conversation.

Your group becomes a shared space where members can communicate, coordinate work, and share information.
Group conversations in Axis Workspace are human-first. Your team can communicate and collaborate without AI automatically taking over the conversation. When you need AI assistance, you can choose an AI Agent and bring it into the conversation.
The selected AI agent responds within the conversation, allowing your team to combine human collaboration with AI assistance when needed.
AI Agents
The AI Agents section of your workspace lets you create, discover, and use AI agents built specifically for your team.
From this section, you can:

Search for AI agents — Find existing agents available in your workspace

Use agents in chats — Bring an AI agent into a conversation when you need its capabilities

Filter agents — Browse agents by category or industry to find the right agent for your needs
Each AI agent has a name and a description explaining what it does, making it easier to understand its purpose before using it.
You can also see which agents are used most frequently, helping you discover popular and useful agents within your workspace.
At the bottom of the AI Agents section, you’ll find Recent Activity, where you can quickly review your latest interactions with AI agents.
Prompt Library
The Prompt Library in your workspace gives you access to 2,000+ prompts that you can discover, customize, and use in your chats.
From the Prompt Library, you can:

Studio lets you create on-brand presentations. You can also manage, edit, share, and export the decks you create.
